Blade is full American with no hardshipped horses in his pedigree. We have high expectations of this boy and with all the stunning horses behind him, we hope he will be every bit as good as them. Horses like Boones Little Buckeroo, NFC's Manipulator and Contender. His sire Indian Peaks Buck Bayonet had a very sucessful show career in the USA before being exported down under and his dam Meridians Desert Moon has produced some of Bluegable's top show horses. Fortunately for us, we had the opportunity to get Garry Colquhoun of Totatara Creek Stud, to give his opinion of this boy and in his own words, Garry had this to say: "I think he is drop dead gorgeous - he is very leggy with a very tight body - he moves and carries himself beautifully - he has great length of foreleg in that he naturally stands up hill - giving him a very stylish stance and his colour is awesome. I was blown away by him and his breeding reads very nicely."
